WHAT IS LEAN

Originating from the Toyota Production System, the core principle of Lean is to identify and eliminate non-value-adding activities (waste) in processes, This approach not only improves operational efficiency but also enhances product quality, reduces costs, and increases customer satisfaction.
Key elements of Lean include process mapping, waste identification, and the implementation of practices like Just-In-Time (JIT) production, 5S workplace organization, and Kaizen (continuous improvement).
WHAT IS SIX SIGMA
Six Sigma is a data-driven methodology for process improvement and quality management. Developed in the 1980s by Motorola, it aims to enhance the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects and minimizing variability in manufacturing and business processes. Six Sigma uses quality management tools, like statistical methods, and follows a structured approach known as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). to measure and analyze data to identify problem areas and implement long-term process improvement.
